Vintage Crown Ducal Ware England Festival Floral Chintz Creamer And Sugar
Festival is one of the most strikingly beautiful transfer patterns that was ever produced for this period of English dinner ware. It is an open floral pattern, rich in various colors, somewhat oriental in feel, with a few paper lanterns tucked in and t, set off by a wonderful white background that projects the branches, large flowers and exquisite colors. The pattern was introduced into the United States around 1926. Marked Crown Ducal, it was made by the A. G. Richardson Co. of England.
You are buying one (1) authentic, vintage Crown Ducal Ware cream pitcher and sugar bowl set dating from circa 1926.This beautifully elegant cream pitcher and covered sugar bowl dating from the height of the Art Deco period feature colorful, multi-floral chintz decorating period-inspired, octagonal-profiled bodies highlighted with geometric handles.
This sugar bowl comes with its original lid. The bottoms are marked with Crown Ducal Ware England crown marks. This cream pitcher measures approximately 3-1/4 inches tall to the tip of the spout and 3-1/4 inches in diameter. This covered sugar bowl measures approximately 4-3/4 inches tall, with lid, and 4-1/4 inches in diameter. This 90-year-old pitcher and bowl are in good condition. The lid has some crazing. No chips, no cracks. The colors are vivid, and the details are distinct.
